The air conditioning in my car went out just before a trip abroad. This little fan made the trip more bearable. Moves a small amount of air without being too loud. Two fans allow the air to be divided between the driver and front passenger. The fan does not cool, it just blows atmospheric air. I've found that if I put a small ice box filled with ice in the back and between the front seats, I can put a fan on top of the ice and get some cooling effect. One point that needs improvement is the foam pads. They are designed to be placed and fixed in one place with a self-adhesive backing. they are not reusable. A base with a non-slip surface that allows the fan to be moved from place to place and prevents it from moving while in use would give this fan 5 stars.
