I am a wedding photographer and I ordered a set of these (clear set) on the recommendation of another photographer. I've only had to use them for a rainy wedding so I can't fully assess their durability but they seem to be durable and will hold up well. They're very affordable, so even if they break over time, there's no problem ordering a few more. but on the other hand I don't think that would be a problem. They're also spring-loaded, so when you press the release button, they pop open instantly for quick access. What makes them great for photography is that clear umbrellas still allow plenty of light through to each person holding the umbrella, which greatly improves photography. as opposed to a monochromatic umbrella. They're also wider so members of the wedding party can share one, or the bride and groom can share one, unlike transparent dome-shaped umbrellas. It's cute, but not very practical when photographing an entire wedding party. All in all, highly recommended for anyone who wants to be extra well prepared on their wedding day. or it is REQUIRED if you are a wedding photographer. You'll be glad you have them for your rainy wedding and more importantly, your client will love you for being prepared.
