Review on Utopia Home Foldable Step Stool by Tracy Love

I was definitely skeptical about buying this stool as the main reason for buying it is for my little one. The reviews I've read say it doesn't "snap into place" until loaded. This is a big problem and I decided not to buy it until I saw that my sister had it and I watched her use it with ease. I have tested it and it is absolutely safe! That's right, it doesn't "lock" until a weight is placed on it (meaning lifting it slightly lengthwise at the ends). This is not a security issue to worry about. I've stepped on it in every direction and it's not dangerous (I'm 200 pounds). "Elevator" is also very poor. Rubber rings prevent someone from falling or slipping. So if you're worried, it's really not a problem (unless you get a defective one). When fully open, it cannot collapse by itself. If it can hold me fairly tightly, I believe my toddler can (and does) use it very well.
