Despite the step stool's innovative design, it is made of very fragile plastic. It ripped and broke on the first day of use. I was lucky not to twist my ankle when it broke and I fell. I can't reach the microwave or overhead cabinets in my caravan. This small folding stool solves the problem. It unfolds easily with one hand and folds to a size that is easy to store. Performs a dual function as a footrest while watching TV. I use it outside next to my chair for a cup of coffee and books/magazines. Durable and great price. You should buy this small stool because it has many uses.

Took a potty training step for my 2 year old to get on the toilet and it works. Very easy to fold for storage when not in use. One star has been removed because it is very easy to pinch your finger where the handle folds into the base when it would be easy for you to round off that edge or leave a small gap to prevent it. My daughter happily took it and adjusted it herself until one day she pinched her finger very badly and now refuses to even touch it with her hands.

Bought this for my almost 2 year old so he and his brother would stop fighting over the only one we had. I love that it's incredibly compact so you can pack it almost anywhere. We had another one that we bought from a retail store and it always seemed wobbly. A few months later I stood on it (we use it for tall shelves in the kitchen) and collapsed right in the middle. I originally bought this product for my freshman student because her dorm bed was too high and at 5'11" she had trouble climbing into her bed. She loves this stool. This practical stool is very well made and you can do so many useful things with it. Our little one uses it to go to the sink, climb on the sofa and bed, and go to the toilet.
