Let's face it, you'll buy them because they're cheap. There's nothing wrong; You will get the job done. I only needed them because the volume on Disney Plus is sometimes too low to hear through my laptop speakers. The sound is now let through and amplified accordingly. The problem is solved. I can't comment on the sound quality (not mine) but on first use there was a slight hum that sometimes occurs when speakers are connected but no sound is expected. This sound does not persist when the speakers are actually playing sound from my laptop. The speakers have endured a bit of handling, although the cables are falling apart. If you treat yours better they will last at least a few months I think. It doesn't sound like much confirmation, but these are $10 speakers. If you need better speakers, please buy better speakers. If you just need to hear better, this will work. I just can't give them five stars because they are nothing special.
