I use a bottle to brew green tea (sencha) and have found that whether it's cold or hot water, the bottom cap doesn't seal properly to keep the liquid in the bottle. You turn it over to drink from it and it drips from the bottom. I strongly advise against purchasing this product. I have two of these and both have the same problem. The problem is that the cap cannot seal tight enough to prevent leakage and this is due to the cap not fitting properly on the bottle itself. It sits slightly crooked to the bottle no matter how hard I try to unscrew and install before tightening. I see that both bottles have the same problem and therefore consider this a design flaw. I believe the real problem is the threads on the bottle itself. You can't get a tight fit by just twisting it further down. The cap finally reaches the end of the thread and breaks off again. Even if you tighten it with the threads as hard as you can, liquid will still leak out of the bottle because the seal isn't tight enough. I'm not sure if the problem is a missing thread or if the cap doesn't fit properly after tightening, but one of the problems is that it doesn't close properly and it leaks every time I drink from a bottle the product a little amount . The problem can be solved by enlarging the threads on the container itself so that the lid grips when tightened. I'll see if I can find an o-ring to fix this as it would be cheaper than buying a new bottle from another supplier but I don't recommend buying this bottle anyway.
