Review on ๐Ÿˆ Battle Oxygen Predator Football Mouthguard: The Ultimate Oxygen Sports Mouth Guard with Braces Compatibility and Lip & Teeth Protection by Frankie Wesley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The cap is good, the strap is bad.

I bought this mouthguard for my 7 year old. Here are my thoughts in brief. My recommendation: Buy this if you don't want to use a face mask strap. Good: 1.) Mouthguard suits everyone. My son has a very sensitive gag reflex and usually chokes when he puts his mouthguard on. To fix this I need to cut them to the end. It wasn't a problem! He wore it and was pleased with how it came out of the box. 2.) The mouthguard itself looks well made. Not messing with the molding is a plus 3.) My son liked the way it looked 4.) The vent hole helps a lot. I have used both types of mouthguards and can say they make breathing easier. The son agrees. Disadvantages: 1.) straps! It's terrible. My son used it for 3 workouts and the strap broke just before the 4th workout. The strap can be easily detached from the mouthguard. My 7 year old was able to put it back in easily but still had to do it often. However, the strap actually broke where it connected to the mask. He went to remove the mouthguard after we did some quick little exercises and the mouthguard fell on the grass where it broke in the mouthguard loop. 2.) Battle customer service was not responding. I emailed them to see if I could purchase an extra strap. I never received an answer 3.) The details of the mouthguard were given as youth. It is not. Battle only makes the Oxygen in one size. Luckily my 7 year old fit perfectly. However, do not assume that you will receive a different size. I ended up buying another fixed belt combat oxygen. It seems to work much better, unfortunately it's only black, but the tape works much better and was cheaper.
