Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Lippert 191023 JT's Strong Arm Fifth-Wheel Jack Stabilizer Kit: Optimal Stability for Your RV by Jason Hill

Revainrating 2 out of 5

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY! The author combined several applications together.

I have a 2003 Keystone COUGAR 244 EFS that I installed them on. Without the assembly video made by LIPPERT (on the bare frame) I wouldn't have been able to "easily" assemble them or figure out what to look out for right away. Of course my 5th wheel (as I discovered) is NOT a regular frame; I found that the front and rear 'supports', front 'crossbar' and 'rear crossbar' were not covered by the instructions at all; However, I was able to make the necessary modifications to the rear scissor jacks to continue using them for their intended purpose, I had to cut them down and change the angle (about 10 degrees) of the rear scissor jacks to "stabilizer" T-bolts" loosened and could tighten/loosen. At first I thought they sent more nuts and bolts/screws than I needed; In the end I needed all the bolts/screws and in fact 4 bolts were missing.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • boring packaging
