Fits perfectly, well worth installing

Larger project to install than I thought it would be, but worth the time and effort. Stabilized my 38 foot Cougar like it was bolted to a concrete foundation. Take the extra time to drill the required holes exactly where the instructions say. There are no tampering with the jacks, but make a big RED mark next to your electric jack's controls to loosen the set screws before work!

Rear Jack Modification for 3.0 Electric Jacks

Front mount is reasonable but I couldn't find much info on the rear wheels if you have 3.0 Lippert electric jacks like on my 29RS Grand Design. I didn't want to invest in buying more parts like Lippert suggests. The kit is quite expensive. Uses a rear trim stud that mounts on the back of the frame. I used the parts from the kit for the installation. Works great, but we won't know anything about actual stabilization until we travel to Arizona next month.

Great product but check your configuration before ordering!

First of all I really like this product and it has made a huge difference in the stability of my fifth wheel. But we had to make a bracket for cleaning the sewer pipe. Make sure your sewage is 30 inches or more behind the front landing gear or you'll end up in the same boat. We also had to run the rear jacks into the trailer to remove the spare tire. from 1/4 to 3/8 screws. I measured between the front deck and we got the right kit, there is also a narrow kit, be sure to check it out! All in…

No more seasickness.

Works as described and even better than I first thought. Put them on and read the full detailed instructions. They were a bit confusing. I would advise them to just change it to pictures and a visual representation of what screws go where and with what. Eventually I came up with the idea by first assembling the pieces for each section. I laid out the pre-assembled parts in their places and spent about 4 hours on it. The hardest part was drilling the holes in the frame and running around the LP…

Excellent product - the instructions need to be supplemented.

Simply great when installed. There are so few campers now. As others have said, the instructions are very weak. But there are videos on YouTube that you need to watch first to get an idea of how to install it. I'm a mechanical engineer and home locksmith - I know my way around tools and metalworking. I would say that I used the instructions as a general guide for my installation and added my knowledge and ideas about the installation to the rest. Took me about 6 hours total but I had to make my

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A little torn

I have a 2003 Keystone COUGAR 244 EFS that I installed them on. Without the assembly video made by LIPPERT (on the bare frame) I wouldn't have been able to "easily" assemble them or figure out what to look out for right away. Of course my 5th wheel (as I discovered) is NOT a regular frame; I found that the front and rear 'supports', front 'crossbar' and 'rear crossbar' were not covered by the instructions at all; However, I was able to make the necessary modifications to the rear scissor jacks…

Cons
  • boring packaging

If like me you have a lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Auto Leveling System you will need an additional $90 in parts to attach it to your rear jacks. You will need Lippert part numbers 314592 and 314595 which are the eyelets that attach to this particular footpeg and 2 extra short eyebolts as you will be using the rest of the short eyebolts to fasten the front arms and attachment point to the camper to fix. Back. Nowhere does it say you need these extra parts to work with the LIPPERT system!

Fits my 38ft footer

Seems to work. My wife has complained of "seasickness" from the exercise for years. Luckily. It was an easy install that took a few hours on my 38ft footer. Made a big difference. Although she said it didn't take away all the movement, I think it took away most of it. I've since put some bottle jacks under the suspension subframe to take out that last little jump. I looked at the 'other' system but felt that 6 braces would be stiffer than 3 and of course the lower price spoke for it. The…

Product: EXCELLENT! Instructions: SHIT!

After opening the box of JT Strongarms, I unpacked all the equipment and laid it out carefully so I had an idea of what I was dealing with. I then opened the install guide to read the instructions. Although there are other reviews on this subject, I have to state: THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH THIS PRODUCT ARE SHIT! If you want to feel like your brain has been packaged, frozen, and sent to another dimension, try following what must have been written by a semi-educated mechanical engineer and…
