Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Lippert 191023 JT's Strong Arm Fifth-Wheel Jack Stabilizer Kit: Optimal Stability for Your RV by Vincent Hurst

Product: EXCELLENT! Instructions: SHIT!

After opening the box of JT Strongarms, I unpacked all the equipment and laid it out carefully so I had an idea of what I was dealing with. I then opened the install guide to read the instructions. Although there are other reviews on this subject, I have to state: THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH THIS PRODUCT ARE SHIT! If you want to feel like your brain has been packaged, frozen, and sent to another dimension, try following what must have been written by a semi-educated mechanical engineer and edited by his son (who did a little better in school and received a theater degree with an average grade of D). Seriously, I've read some technical manuals and this is MUCH worse. Not that this was written by someone learning English as a second language, I've read a lot of it. As a rule, you can get an overview of what is described relatively quickly. This guide is on another level of bad. The only reason I can think of this being so poorly written is because Lippert decided to save a few bucks and let the janitor write it. "Hey, do you want to stop cleaning toilets for four hours and write a few words on a page? They don't really have to be understandable, we just need ink on paperโ€, it must have been an input. It's a bit crude, but if you do decide to buy it, you'll have an exciting opportunity to envision all the hardware and mounts that come with it assembled in a way that would cringe David Lynch. Spare yourself the dizzying agony and watch the YouTube video. It takes fifteen minutes and is worth it. The product itself is fantastic. I spent about three hours from start to finish; That includes half an hour trying to get clear instructions from the manual and fifteen minutes of watching YouTube videos to no avail. The only reason I gave it four stars is (you guessed it) a pathetic apology for the instruction manual. That aside, if you have a wobbly fifth wheel, it's a cat's meow.
