When I hear the word, "caftan" I think of Mrs Roper from Three's Company, but this is like nothing she ever wore.Very comfortable,light weight and soft, it fits very true to size. Not too clingy, but not too loose, either. I am 5' tall and the hem hits just below my knee. I am not usually a fan of this type of sleeve length, but it's actually not too bad and I can push them up or even cuff them. It's definitely a great item for lounging about the house or sleeping in.
