Review on πŸ”Œ Industrial Electrical Magnetic Converter Compatible Smartphones - NetDot by Chris Russell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

i like her enough

People might have high hopes for something that costs $10. I bought 3 packs and sent them back because they didn't work properly. Now I have 5 packages and while they work most of the time, sometimes they don't; and sometimes I have to unplug and flip and plug the other way and it works. Also, it doesn't work with some cables (like the official Google cables that came with my phone). But then again, they often work and I don't have to mess with them. I keep one next to my bed so the cord can come loose. I think I've only had to fiddle with it (i.e. twist the plug to plug in) 2-3 times in the last 2-3 months. I have one in my car, I had to fiddle with it, maybe 1-2. I have one on my bike but haven't ridden much this year (insert crying face here). Definitely worth it for $10; I'd pay double or more if they were perfect because it's amazing and such a better idea than cables with a detachable magnetic grommet (which I have close to a dozen that don't and can't work with each other). used outside of that particular cable). In fact, I took one of the high-speed cables with a detachable magnetic tip and attached one of those to it; and it works fine (when I don't have to mess with it).

Pros
  • USB to USB adapter
Cons
  • Doubtful
