Review on OXO Grips Sugar 🍧 Dispenser: Convenient 5.5 Inch Dispensing Solution by Paul Wilson

The OXO Sugar Dispenser works well when new. However, sugar gets stuck in the spout over time, so you can hear the grinding of sugar stuck in the spout when you open and close it. OXO makes a lot of smart, useful gadgets and tools, but this one is a failure. The biggest disadvantage of this dispenser is the lack of durability. Little did I know the container has two parts. Apparently the base is a separate piece from the rest of the cylinder and can detach with a slight impact. Mine slipped an inch out of my hand onto the counter and the bottom came off - sugar everywhere. As far as I could tell, it wasn't something I could easily restore or fix myself. Big disappointment as it wasn't exactly a cheap item. I also did not contact OXO because I had bad experiences with their customer service in the past. I ended up throwing the OXO in the trash and will buy another dispenser of a different brand.
