Review on MSI Bluetooth Wireless Network AC905C by Wes Thao

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Update your BIOS if WiFi doesn't work but Bluetooth works.

. One day when I have a gigabit and a Wi-Fi 6 router I can really test it. Bluetooth is perfect. You can use your mouse, keyboard, headset and phone at the same time with excellent signal. The base is magnetic so you can mount it sideways or top. The design was particularly appealing and I am very happy about the extended antennas. The price is good as it is around $20 for an Intel chip and $20 for an E-Key m.2 slot for PCIE X1 with drivers and antenna kit included. .The only problem I had was with the support. You tell them you've tried MSI, Realtek and Intel drivers, they give up and say it's someone else. The MSI guy said he heard from another customer that it was an Intel chip. I knew this was wrong because Bluetooth was working and I had an issue with the Realtek family controller that was preventing the AX200 from initializing WI-FI. So if you can get Bluetooth to work but not WI-FI, check Windows Device Manager for Realtek Family Controller and see if there is a yellow warning sign on it. If so, update your bios before you start disassembling windows like I did thinking it was just a driver issue. If the support was anything more than foreigners reading your manuals in broken English or going through a general troubleshooting list I would give it 5 stars. MSI really needs to push harder in this regard, because it's going to cost them more money to keep sharing products with customers than it will just hire people who are even remotely interested in fixing bugs. Because of this, I don't really recommend MSI products to people who don't have an intermediate understanding of every component of their PC and operating system.
