I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0. Final. A design flaw is that DRLs are also turn signals. The lamps thus fulfill a double function. Because of this design flaw, I have to change these bulbs about every six to eight months. The bulbs themselves are not expensive, but replacing them is a pain. So I decided to switch to LEDs. They cost more but I don't think I need to change as often. I wanted to get them with built in resistor and lightning protection. They claim that they switch back when the DRLs are white and switch to amber when using a turn signal. I thought this is what I need. I've tried two other brands that claim this feature. None of them worked as advertised. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy something that I would consider pricey but worth the money if it works. Well the design and build is great, installation was easy ie. Plug and play, the blinker worked and there was no hyper flash. However, the switchback function does not work. DRL stays yellow. They don't switch to white. I came to the conclusion that the problem must be in the car. I decided to keep them and see how long they last compared to a standard bulb.
