It was just as I'd hoped. A little big. The size large is a "Woman's large", wider and longer than average. I usually wear an XL or sometimes a 1X. The large was plenty big for my desired coverage. It did not fit tightly on me, it did not cling or stretch across any area.It is soft and comfortable, and has washed well (in cold water) without noticeable shrinkage. It is a light weight cotton, perhaps a medium weight, when the summer weights are considered.The proportions are as I hoped - I am only 5'2" but the v-neck was neither too plunging nor awkwardly high. It is a tunic length on my frame. The sleeves end about1 ½ or 2 inches above my elbow. I was pleased enough to order other colors. The fabric does pick up every little bit of lint around, however, I purchased it for hiking and dog walking so I'm not too concerned with it staying neat.
