Boombox received today. I'm very happy with it so far. It is compact, but this is not a minus. The sound when playing a CD was crisp and clear. The lighting effects on the sides are not overwhelming or distracting. I had a radio with foldable antennas, I like that too, and it plays at a decent volume for me. I live in a tiny 3000 square foot house and recently ordered another portable CD player from a different company on Amazon and this player is louder. No passports. I am thinking of ordering one for my 76 year old mother as I think she will love it. I think it has a battery and power cord and if you really want to laugh, open the little black envelope that came with it and read this company's personal message to your customers. :-). You even get some cool stickers.
