Very strong and durable construction
I use this rod to stabilize an old Nikon lens from the 1980's when it is attached to a DSLR. It helps stabilize a heavy lens when attached to a plastic body camera which isn't really designed to hold such a heavy lens unaided. The DSLR attaches at one end with the included 1/4" tripod screw and the lens rests on a Neewer stem with strong rubber straps to stabilize the lens on the Neewer stem. I can add an adapter to the bottom to attach to my mounting system and it works like a charm. I was worried the Neewer bar would flex, but it is very stiff and strong and doesn't budge. Highly recommended.
