First, these boots are very sturdy and need to be broken in. I also find that they are quite roomy, maybe 1/2 size larger than advertised. If you tie the laces too lightly, they'll pinch the tips of your toes at the bend, so they should be loose, which makes for a roomy fit. Worst of all are the soles, they are an absolute death trap on snow, ice and mossy wet surfaces like logs. They have absolutely no grip! My very cheap Decathlon hiking shoes outperform them! The stiffness of the boot, even after breaking in, makes it uncomfortable. There are much better alternatives in this price range. The pros are that they look pretty good and they keep your feet dry.

Pros
  • The combination of Dark Earth and Gold Brown looks great on kids and is easy on the eye.
Cons
  • Not suitable for children who quickly outgrow shoes.
