This is a really nice pillow. I have a long thick neck for a woman and I am a tall woman (almost 6ft) and yet I don't feel at all that she is too small. The strap is adjustable, so it is also suitable for thicker necks. The buttons cannot be seen when wearing the pillow, but they are raised so you can easily feel them. Heat takes a little time to warm up. Give it 5-7 minutes. And that comes close to the divine. Vibrations are something strange to me. But usually I don't like that kind of thing. My son laughs when he uses it because it tickles his ears. The massage is amazing. I do NOT like those shiatsu back massagers or the big ones that you hold on your shoulders. They are uncomfortable and rub too hard. That's great! I can sit back and get comfortable without putting my weight on it like with one of those much larger backs or shoulders. The massage is a bit intense, but good and pleasant. The only problem I have is that I feel so good that I want it to travel down my neck to my shoulders too. However, this is not possible due to the construction. However, it really relaxes when he touches my neck. There is only one massage mode. Two vibration levels and one heat level. You cannot use it as a travel pillow. Not comfortable. Unless you use the massage function. The massage heads don't fill up at all, leaving a hard lump where they are, and it's not comfortable for a travel pillow. But overall I like it. This is the only Shiatsu massager I have tried and loved. I like that it is small and easy to store. I will use it more often because it is easier to access.
