This is a great replacement part. Their only downside, as another review notes; "They will fall off." I fix various systems. I would buy them again as they look and feel like the original caps. The solution to the problem of her falling off is simple, I use a two part jewelry epoxy on it. As with anything you apply glue to, you need to prep both surfaces. But once that's done and the epoxy is dry the caps will stay in place. I did what is called a "baby test" before and after using the epoxy. Without her, they stayed for a while but eventually left (about 20 minutes of gameplay). With epoxy - and still are (several hours of playtime, up to around 10 hours at the time of writing this review). So, as for the recommendation for spares if you want to just slip them on and go: expect them to fall off and NO, I would recommend; if you do what i do with epoxy then YES because they look and feel like the originals. But that, like everything else, is all personal preference. Different people, different opinions. Like you said; "Some people might like you sometimes, but you can't always please everyone."
