I used to buy Pediped shoes for my kids because they were wide and soft and allowed the feet to stay in their natural state. Ever since I found these shoes, which are more than half the price, I've been very satisfied. Velcro straps don't sit perfectly where they should but they do the job and I can't complain about anything else as my son won't be wearing them for a few months before he outgrows them. In the photo, the strap appears to be cutting into his skin, but that's not the case at all - he just has chubby ankles.
