If you're reading a review from 2016 or earlier, start here. network in your area.tl;dr: ONLY buy this device if you have confirmed 2G or multi-band support with your network provider in your area - H2O will no longer work as far as I know, but T-Mobile and AT&T can both remain on 2G coverage. From mid-2016 to late December 2016, most wireless carriers began phasing out their 2G networks. If you buy one of the SIM cards offered with this purchase, you may be surprised, as was I. If you check the wireless coverage map for the H2O wireless network (the map I bought) you can see that their 2G wireless coverage is completely non-existent. In my area I was able to use my T-Mobile SIM card from my phone to check coverage and everything worked great. This tracker is only good as long as 2G network support is available, after that it is only suitable for built-in GPS recording to SD card, no remote access via GSM networks.
