Beautiful, pristine finish and sealed lid. It holds a lot, although it's easy to lift with one hand. I honestly would have liked a slightly smaller size but couldn't find this color on the shorter and narrower tanks. This dish was originally intended to stay on the table, but it holds so much that I left it on the counter next to the stove for easy access for cooking/baking. The butter knife on top is both practical and charming. I'm a little unsure how the butter knife will hold up as it seems pretty light, but that doesn't bother me too much. It wasn't a commercial argument for me as I didn't expect much from him and didn't need him. But now that I have it, I'm sold. If you want an airtight jug that doesn't need constant water changes every few days, that holds a full pound (or more if you crushed it up instead of leaving the oil in blocks), and that looks great, this is it .
