Wow, GeoSafari® Jr. exceeded all expectations. My 5 year old son LOVES them. Very easy to use! We've spent the last two days working the streets around our property and he loved the opportunity to "call" his mom while he was working with his dad. He even let his grandma talk about it and they loved her so this toy is perfect for all ages. I think he will also enjoy playing with his friends along with them. I love that I can "call" him when he's in his room to come into the kitchen. A few things I liked about them: The color. The first day one of them fell to the ground and we had to go back to find it. Love the warning tone that helped locate it and as we approached the orange and blue light it was easy to spot on the ground. Sound. My son wears a hearing aid, so volume is important. It was loud enough to be heard and worked well with hearing aids. Clip - There is a clip on the back which makes it very easy to clip it in your pocket for quick access. Durable - they survived the fall to the ground. Jump while swinging. And we were outside when it was wet and muddy and they wiped off easily. Range - never had an issue with them and we tested them in our range which is around 300ft. Although the instructions advised against using them through walls, they still worked well. We highly recommend them!
