Very robust professional quality stand
All steel with a 1.5 inch base. It's big, durable, stable and very high quality. Any professional will be happy to have it in their studio. With an additional mini clamp, it easily supports the horizontal crossbar. I use a 5 foot piece of 1/2 inch electrical wire to hang my backdrops. Thing is quite heavy, which is an inevitable consequence of its strength and stability, so it couldn't be otherwise!
