brackets didn't hold well. Did a thorough surface prep, used 3m VHB tape and construction glue to attach. Then, after the construction glue had dried, I sealed the edge with silicone. My roof is flat and I have at least 6 panel mounts (this product was used with a 6 piece kit from the same brand). Although none of these flew off while driving, my initial inspection showed that 3 out of 6 panels had at least one loose fastener.
