I love this rack! My old one used to have such wide spaces between the bars that things would fall through, but I do nut have that problem with this rack. It is the perfect, compact size for my counter. The piece underneath I thought I would not like, but you cannot see it at all when the rack is full and I love how it dries out quickly (I used to use a towel or other absorbent fabric). The silverware holder is the best! Nothing pokes through and it fits a lot of utensils in a relatively small space! I can pack this thing like you would not believe and it holds everything in pace very well. The high sides help with this a lot, as well as the thick band around the top. I have been using it for a month and the paint still looks great, not soft water covering the black paint, no chipping, and no rust.
