The design was exactly what I wanted - a modern sleek table. However, the quality is terrible, especially the faux leather magazine rack (I haven't used it) and the wooden top (looks like scrap metal). Also the design has obviously changed because the instructions were for a different configuration. In the current design, shiny gold screws are visible on the lower frame. Added black foam circles - I suspect they hide unsightly screw heads and just look silly. There were no pre-drilled holes in the wood tabletop for mounting screws, just a small cup in the wood. I used an ice pick to make pilot holes in the center of the cups to drive the screws. The wood is very soft, so everything worked out. This item "as is" is less than half its price. I'm keeping it because I couldn't find a similar table design with the dimensions I needed anywhere else. I will either paint the wood countertop or replace it with a nice quality wooden cheese board. I found a few with the right dimensions to fit the frame. I am very disappointed in this table.
