This is great for removing parts when you can pinch the jaws on the parts.
This hammer can be used for many things. More recently I've used it to remove a number of frame stub bolts. Once the bolt was loose and seated in the socket, I clamped the jaws onto the head of the bolt and hit it a few times with a hammer. This thing is extremely useful for those rare occasions when you need it.
