These footpegs were used on a 2008 Sportster 1200 Custom. I already had some skull parts on the bike and found the pins were a bit missing. It was a great alternative to the Willie G. pegs that I was considering before the extremely rude parts salesman at the HD dealership completely turned me off of everything but the HD to the accessories. They look very nice with the center mandrel and are adjustable with the center nut. This allows you to adjust the distance between your toes and the shifter. Loosen the 14mm chrome nut under the bolt, adjust by turning the bolt and retighten. What you are most likely to encounter is a broken and/or deformed snap ring holding the stem pin, and this snap ring is made of the cheapest material. Make sure you have new electronic terminals, or use a chrome screw or hex bolt with a lock nut to hold these super nice pins in place. The chrome finish is deep and premium! Don't forget to tighten all nuts/bolts on these pins before riding. This is shown in the enclosed instructions and is of the utmost importance for your safety!
