Better Than Expected

We used these to fix a pair of stretchy Lycra (spandex) tights that look like yoga pants. They broke near the seam. This product is mainly an adhesive patch for flexible fabrics. The patch isn't as flexible as the original and the repair isn't entirely subtle, but overall not bad. The patch is stronger than the material we attached it to. Make sure your iron isn't too hot - you might damage the original clothes at first. We've had no problems with this, although we have used a non-contact thermometer to check the surface of the iron. The instructions that come with the patch are good. Obtain a fairly large amount of patching material and cut out a piece that overlaps the repair area by three-quarters of an inch (almost 2 cm). When you fix a small puncture or tear, you have plenty of patches left over for future repairs. I was very skeptical but this product does what it promises and works well.
