Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Colsen Tabletop Rubbing Alcohol Fireplace: A Portable Indoor Outdoor Fire Pit with Concrete Bowl Pot by Pop Henneghan

Read This Fire Department Ad

I put 91% isopropyl alcohol on this round mini fire pit and it burned well and went out on its own. I lit it indoors as it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Out of curiosity, I called the local fire department and explained how it works and how it should be used. The fire chief did not recommend burning it indoors because it appears that small amounts of carbon monoxide can be released from rubbing alcohol. He said if you're going to use it indoors again, make sure a window or door is open, but otherwise recommends it mostly for outdoors. I asked if it was possible to cook food with a gas like rubbing alcohol and the fire chief said that it was possible to cook and eat food with such a flame but it could give him a weird taste and it wasn't that cleanest burning fuel . I hope this helps someone. I would 100% recommend it as a gift along with a note of all the info I just gave the reviewer so they know how to use it safely.
