Review on 🖨️ Creality Mainboard with Precision Leveling Printer Sensor by Shane Minter

This Creality CR Touch Auto-Level Kit contains everything you need for installation. This includes mounts for various 3D printers. In my case Ender 3 Max. The installation instructions are very good. It's missing a few things, but I was able to figure it out myself. Compared to BLTouch, this CR Touch is much heavier (see photos). This can affect performance at higher print speeds. Wiring is the same as BLTouch and all software settings are the same. That is a good thing. I like that the LEDs are not too bright. Connectors are identical to BLTouch. While they are larger than the Ender 3 Max, the wire extension is too short. I need about 75 -100 mm length. Yes, I could get it to work, but it's too tight in my opinion. Please note that after installation you need to update the firmware to use it. There are many videos on YouTube that explain how to update the firmware. Is it worth buying one of these? If you're good at manually leveling your bed, you might not need it. However, if you want to automate the process, CR Touch is a good choice. Overall, this is a good redesign of the BLTouch. I would have given 5 stars without the short extension cord. However, I can only give 4 stars for the cable. If you want to see it in action I have a YouTube video showing it. Find CRTouch.
