Review on Logitech G300s Optical Gaming Mouse with 9 Programmable Buttons and Onboard Memory – Perfect for Ambidextrous Gamers by Pornthip Pornthip ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

I think this is the best mouse in its price range. Different pros: Excellent gaming mouse, sensor - ovago never failed, clear clicks, micro candles - omron with a long click resource, the mouse wheel has an optical encoder, which means that dust that has clogged into the wheel will not interfere with its good work, also an optical encoder is better than a mechanical one that in mechanical contact it happens directly, and in optical everything happens contactless, the light passes through the wheel with slots and enters the photocell. In general, the mouse is crammed with a very worthy stuffing that cannot be compared with a4tech. The sensor has a sensitivity of 2500dpi, I play CSGO at 500dpi and below it is enough with my head, it is not possible to play at a higher sensitivity. There are several backlight modes that shine evenly, aesthetically. The mouse also has built-in memory, which means that all binds will be saved if you plug it into another computer. Cons: The wire is not in a fabric braid. (may bend over) In principle, this problem can also be solved by buying a "doner" from logitech for 200. on ebay and replacing the wire without soldering, because the wire is not soldered on the board, but a connector is inserted in almost all logitech mice. Preview the pictures of your alleged "doner" from the inside and if it has a wire connected to the connector (a white connector on the board from which you can disconnect the wire like from a plug), then it suits you. In order to disassemble the logitech g300s to replace the wire, carefully NOT HEATING the tiflon legs with tweezers, remove them, there are small screws under them, unscrew them and remove the upper part of the case, then remove the old wire by pulling it out of the connector and insert a new one. Personally, I changed the wire on my old logitech g300 by taking the wire from the logitech B100 Black, buying it literally for 50. Everything fit perfectly. The mouse has been working for 3 years now. I decided to describe in detail the replacement of the wire, because there are no guides on the Internet about this.
