Every time I plug it in the switch turns red and when I turn it on it makes a whirring noise. Every time I reset the switch the red light goes out and there is no power, but when I press reset the red light comes on and the snake machine has power, it just buzzes. When I called Ridgid they said the one I have may be damaged and/or not working because when I swap out the extension cord and try to plug it into an outlet in two different places, try to plug it in, something, that is not the case with the car.
