what i was looking for

Audio-Technica AT-VM95SHD pickup with two moving magnets and Shibata stylus. I have turned 40 years old. Sounds bad, but yes, in a way it is, but I've used good diamond-tipped needles and cartridges, both Stanton, and they're very good. They didn't really destroy my albums but you know man I've been getting it wrong all these years. I've searched a lot and every time I've come back to this cartridge and this pen. I find the price of this to be a really good deal compared to some I've looked at and they just hold up and the price of this one makes it worth picking I thought after a while and feel like i have the right pickup and especially the stylus which is "Shibata" made it the right buy. I don't think another stylus model, the Microline stylus, is any better and I don't see how it could make much of a difference. In this price range you would have to invest a lot of time to find something better and ask for a few hundred dollars if you are looking yes, from 7 to over a thousand or more and I don't know many people who would have paid that amount, because I wouldn't have, so that brings us back to this setup. I'm very pleased so far and I can really hear the difference on the albums, a bit better bass as some have said and higher guitar tones that weren't there. before this setup gets the job done at a price I could live with. Take a look around and I'm sure you'll come back and check it out again.
