I received my sheets and put them in the washing machine as directed before putting them on top of my clothes. When I pulled the sheets out of the dryer, there were hooks on every part. I also bought a matching duvet for this bedding set from the same company and had the same issue. The problem wasn't with my washing machine as all the other washes I did that day were fine and all my clothes were undamaged. I cannot be sure if the driftwood was present prior to the washing process as I did not inspect it carefully as I assumed it arrived in pristine condition. In any case, they either came to me in extremely damaged condition or didn't even survive a gentle wash before deteriorating.
