Difficult to install on my 2012 Silverado

nuances to my 2012 Silverado RWD truck so I wanted to drop the rear end to straighten it out. Now I know I could buy 2 inch braces and recommend you to buy them instead of 2-3 inch braces. Expect easy crafting. I had to bend the bed weld and cut the top holes of the 2-3" bracket to make room for the assembly. I suggest removing the shock absorbers and tow bar (if you have one). Pro Tip - The two bolts that attach the tongue to the bumper are in weld nuts - you don't need to remove the plastic skirts on the bumper like I did. various shocks. Advice for professionals. I called Rancho/Monroe tech support and they didn't have a solution that was 2 inches shorter. I purchased 2" Revain shocks. I did this project on my road. You will need a 21mm socket, extensions and a 13/16 open/close wrench. An impact wrench will help with speed. Installation took time 5 hours to install, remove, cut and reinstall. I hope by sharing my tips I can save you time and nerves. Good luck
