Heat shrink crimp connectors

This 580 piece connector set has 8 different connector types in 3 sizes that work from small 22 gauge wire to fairly thick 10 gauge wire. With an ok crimper and a heat gun, I was able to try all the sizes on a variety of things. i used the butt connectors to hook up a backup camera for my car, and the small 1/4 inch ring to attach a ground. The shrink tubing covers up any exposed wiring, and helps provide a bit of a strain relief, which helps keep the wire from coming loose from the connector.Overall, the box it comes in is very cheap quality, but it works. The connectors themselves are fine. The package is about 50 dollars at the time of this review which is a little expensive, but it does come with such a big variety which is nice for people who need different sizes. I find myself mostly using the red and blue fork and butt connectors, so I will probably just buy more of those when these run out. I hardly use the yellow connectors, but that's because there isn't a lot of 12 and 10 gauge wiring in the projects I work on.Overall, I'm happy to have this selection to have on hand for quick crimping jobs. If you can get it at a reduced price, I'd recommend that, or get a smaller package to save money. I did waste a couple connectors when I first started using these, but it's because I was using the crimper wrong. Since then, they've all been solid connections, and overall good quality connectors.
