I recently bought a Steamfast SF-275 canister for general cleaning and replaced 2 other steamers in my house (a hand held steamer and a steam mop). ). This saves a lot of time considering the steam cleaners MUST cool down before they can be refilled to avoid damaging the tank. - Sturdy, high quality extensions and heads that snap securely in place - HUGE mop head with hard plastic hook to attach mop head (no velcro on this thing to stuff in random pet hair!) - Textured microfiber mop pads absorb dirt and just soak it up to wash in the washing machine (tip: do not use fabric softener and do not put in the dryer!) - Casters make it easy to pull when cleaning and are light enough to handle easily if necessary thanks to the ergonomics. Super wearable! - Did I mention attachments? A small set of nylon cleaning brushes, a wire grill brush (tried it already, works great), a dish sponge, a large triangle brush for cleaning corners, and a giant scraper perfect for cleaning surfaces, windows, and glass (LOVE it for mirrors, countertops and shower doors). Cons: - Nothing to wrap around a fairly long power cord. - No brush/cloth attachment. actually make steam, just hot water, but that wasn't my experience. If you follow the directions and wait for the steam ready light to go off before pulling the trigger, you'll get good, steady, continuous steam, not hot water.
