So I ordered this bag first to put together a set of STF for emergencies. You know, just in case you only have a minute to grab something and head out of the house, it should be SUCH a bag that you grab and that can last for several days in all conditions. I wanted a bag that was waterproof, durable, high visibility and big enough for the purpose and the yellow version of this bag hit the spot! Yes I know it's designed for a motorcycle but whatever, it works great as an STF bag. And if I have to, I can also attach it to my motorcycle, which is also in my garage. This is a solid bag and a good size for my needs. The bag also features reflectors for better nighttime visibility and clip-on straps that attach to the bike's side hooks. It also has an air valve which helps a lot to seal the bag and keep everything fit and tight which is a great feature. Most importantly, it's totally waterproof! I wouldn't put it in the water anyway, but in heavy rain you won't have any problems, that's for sure. To test this, I put it in the shower for about an hour to simulate heavy rain and there was absolutely ZERO water inside. The material that makes up the bag is very thick and durable and I believe it will stand up to repeated use and rough handling and will last me for years. Please note they have a larger 66 liter bag just in case you can fit more things in it. It's the perfect size for me - it's not too big to be bulky, but at the same time roomy enough to hold everything I need for a SHTF situation. Great bag! Conclusion: Yes, definitely a great bag for many purposes, absolutely recommendable. It is well made, durable, totally waterproof, with an air valve. Although designed as a motorcycle adventure bag, for me it works great as an emergency survival bag. Pros: 1) Very well made 2) Durable, withstands abuse. 3) Totally waterproof. 4) Has an air valve. 5) There are straps and hooks for attaching to the bike. Cons: none yet.
