This is actually a great coaster set for the price. I couldn't get them to stand up straight with food (mints, macaroons, and muffins) on them. The round has bent more than the square. I used a square base with all three tiers. With the round base, I left the top two tiers connected and used the bottom one separately, just lying on the table separately. In general, things went well for a children's birthday tea party.
