Purchased with a matching tray and together they are great for storing and displaying jewellery. The different stem heights allow for flexible storage, although I had to double-tie my longest necklaces to make them fit. I've found I wear jewelry more often now that everything is on display here - definitely a plus. In addition, the concrete base serves as an additional shelf for ear studs (earrings without an eyelet on the back) and makes the whole structure very solid. Just want to point out that the curved bars aren't very long - I don't think they could hold any longer. two dozen pairs of earrings at most. So if you have a lot of jewelry or a lot of hookless earrings I would definitely invest in an extra storage case.
