Dim Dark is hard to see what purple is!

The sand was shipped in a bag that was not protective. The sandbag was opened with sand all over the shipping box. I decided to ignore this problem and quickly found a container and dumped a broken sandbag into it. The main problem is purple. It's very dark and it's hard to tell if it's purple. Someone actually asked if I add black to my moving sand painting. I was looking at the Activa brand colored sand and thought I should have ordered the painterly sand because the colored disc showed a lighter purple color. When I zoomed in on the actual image, it appeared to be a dull dark purple. There is a bias in the color of the sand they sell!
