Review on 🔧 Braun 8000 360 Complete Foil/Cutter Block: Replacement for Models 8995, 8985, 8975 by Trevor Palmer

There are many posts about this product and the Series 3 replacement foil and cutter. Both work with various Braun razors and I have the 8995. I think I had it for ten years or more and at one time the series 3 stock parts worked better than the series 5, but the last few times i bought a series 3 it didnt seem to be as good as i remembered. So this time I bought both, Series 3 and Series 5. I don't see any difference in shaving either, and both are worse than what I got before. I think the information that cutting knives now have thicker blades is probably the problem. The knives for the two items appear to be the same and the blades look thick. It still works very well and if I take the extra time to go over the beard a few times it will be fine. However, I'm disappointed that I'll probably have to start buying a brand new razor soon to get the cut I want, or just switch to manual blades. Hope this helps others.
