We are very happy with this insert. We didn't move our daughter from her Halo bassinet to a crib until she was 6 months old. When we did this, she frequently seemed to stick her arm or leg between the slats. Our nursery has gray walls, a white crib and pink accents, so I ordered this one hoping for a nice combo. Sometimes the colors in these online products can be off-putting when you see them in person. This is not the case here! This is the perfect match. Gray is a beautiful true gray, pink is soft and pretty, and white is perfect. It's also not an old-school bumper that you just tie to the slats. This is a two piece bumper. You place the longer piece on the back of the crib and follow the instructions to thread it through the specific spots, then secure with very strong velcro and finish with ties. The second part is shorter and runs in the same way at the front. It leaves no gaps and my little one no longer slides between the bars. I was a bit scared when I initially took it out of the box because they didn't have instructions, but the company directs you to their website where there is a great video tutorial (which is a big plus for Mom's brain!) . I washed the liner once and it held up great. We use it with the Graco Rory convertible crib and it fits perfectly. I'm not worried about my daughter stepping on the insert and using it as a lever to get out of the crib. The liner slips off the top when she tries to step on it, but it still holds a barrier to keep her feet and hands from slipping off. She likes to put it down a bit so she can lean out when she should be sleeping! She also likes the animals printed around the bumper.
