Not only is it beautiful, but I think it lasts longer than other cases. Because the Joy-Con safety covers don't snap open, just snap on and they cover the entire Joy-Con, they are not easy to break. I broke the previous protective cover on the joysticks because it broke easily when removing it to clean the joysticks. But with this case there is no such problem. This may not protect it from falling, but it helps and certainly helps ensure the joysticks don't fade when held in their hands.
