Got this after a knee injury that prevented me from running/using the elliptical. My main problem is that my kneecap moves up and down in a zig zag pattern instead of straight up and down. This brace is great for isolating the patella and allowing it to move up and down in the right direction. It's comfortable to wear, not too hot, and has an adjustable strap for little knees to keep it snug. Now I no longer have knee pain when I run 30-40 minutes straight. I only wear it during workouts, but my knee pain when climbing stairs is also pretty much gone. A much better option than the orthopedist's "walk and dig" suggestion. The German company is very high quality.
