I bought this item to keep my desk clean. It kept getting worse and was affecting my productivity. I need this for a thin case 10" Asus S3 tablet. It arrived in perfect order in a unique box. It had very little documentation but do you really need it? I, like many other reviewers here, was concerned about the Strength of the hinge and whether it holds a 10" tablet securely enough that I might still find it useful. I assure you, this is a very strong point of view. It holds my tablet perfectly, as you can see in the photos taken I enclose. It holds my tablet in portrait or landscape. The hinge is very secure and difficult to describe, its lightness is perfectly balanced by the ease with which it doesn't move. I don't think I have any issues with this stand "I'll have problems. If your tablet or phone has a connector at the bottom, the stand will work for that too. I chose black because it goes with everything on my desk and tablet. For $19, d it's a good buy. I highly recommend this if you need to clear things off your desk and want it to look cleaner.
